Welcome to Golden Vista Travel. We are a franchisee of The Good Travel Agent, acting as an independent travel agent offering holiday packages, flights, accommodation, tours and related travel services. By using our website or making a booking with us, you agree to the terms set out below.
These Terms & Conditions explain how we operate, how bookings work, and your rights as a customer. Please read them carefully before making any travel arrangements.

1. Who We Are
Golden Vista Travel is a trading name of The Good Travel Agent, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 14982784).
We sell travel services on behalf of a wide range of tour operators, airlines, cruise lines and travel suppliers. We do not own or operate the travel services advertised — instead, we act as an agent on your behalf to arrange bookings with third-party providers.
Our registered office (through The Good Travel Agent) is:
Lemanis House, Stone Street, Lympne, Hythe, CT21 4JN, United Kingdom.

2. Our Role as a Travel Agent
When you make a booking with us:
-
You appoint us as your agent to arrange travel services with the relevant tour operator or supplier.
-
A contract will be formed directly between you and the travel supplier.
-
Each supplier has their own booking conditions, including payment terms, cancellation rules, amendments and responsibilities for your trip.
We will provide you with a copy of these conditions at the time of booking or upon request.
Golden Vista Travel is responsible for:
-
Acting with reasonable skill and care
-
Passing payments to suppliers securely
-
Providing accurate information
-
Supplying documentation in a timely manner
We are not responsible for the provision of the travel services themselves.

3. ABTA Protection
Golden Vista Travel is a Member of ABTA (Number P8607) through our franchise owner, The Good Travel Agent.
This means:
-
You benefit from ABTA’s assistance and Code of Conduct
-
You are protected when buying qualifying package holidays
-
You have access to ABTA’s customer support and dispute resolution services
Important:
ABTA protection does not apply to:
-
Accommodation-only bookings
-
Car hire
-
Attraction tickets
-
Other standalone travel arrangements
For more information, contact ABTA:
30 Park Street, London, SE1 9EQ — www.abta.com

4. ATOL Protection
Many of the flight or flight-inclusive packages we sell are financially protected under the ATOL scheme.
-
If your holiday is ATOL protected, you will receive an ATOL Certificate within 24 hours of booking.
-
Only the services listed on the certificate will be covered.
-
If the supplier fails, the Civil Aviation Authority will ensure you are refunded or brought home.
Not all travel services are ATOL protected.
We will always confirm whether your trip qualifies for ATOL protection at the time of booking.
For more details, visit: www.caa.co.uk/ATOL-protection/

5. No Financial Protection on Standalone Services
If you book standalone services such as:
-
Hotels
-
Car hire
-
Transfers
-
Attraction tickets
-
Event tickets
then ABTA and ATOL protections do not apply.
We recommend you purchase appropriate travel insurance for peace of mind.

6. Prices & Payments
All prices are subject to availability and change until confirmed by the supplier.

Deposits
Most bookings require a deposit. The balance date varies by supplier.

Payment Plans
We do not offer fixed instalment plans.
However, you can choose to make as many payments as you like, whenever you like, up until your balance due date.

Final Balance
If you fail to pay on time, the supplier may cancel your holiday and retain any payments made.

7. Changes & Cancellations
If you need to amend or cancel a booking:
-
We will assist you, but all charges are set by the tour operator or supplier, not by Golden Vista Travel.
-
Amendments may incur fees.
-
Cancellations may result in part or full loss of your booking cost.
We will always explain your options clearly before proceeding.

8. Travel Documents & Information
It is your responsibility to ensure you have:
-
Valid passports
-
Required visas
-
Travel insurance
-
Health documents
-
Vaccinations (if applicable)
We will help guide you but cannot be held responsible for travel disruptions caused by missing documentation.
9. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend taking out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking.
Some suppliers require proof of insurance to travel.

10. Website Content & Accuracy
We make every effort to ensure that all information on our website is accurate.
However:
-
Prices may change
-
Services may be withdrawn
-
Descriptions are supplied by third-party providers
-

We cannot guarantee that all information is error-free at all times.

11. Complaints & Customer Support
If you have a problem during your trip:
-
Report it to the supplier immediately
-
Give them the opportunity to resolve the issue
-
Contact us if you need further support
If a dispute remains unresolved, ABTA’s complaints process may be available for qualifying bookings.
